Panzertrain! Wargame of Armoured Train Combat

• World War I dragged on.
• Everything started with a strange typhus slowing down all sides of the conflict. The earth turned into mud, thick with the sick and dying.
• Plants grew from it — like waves or quicksand. The vegetation swallows anything that dares to disturb it.
• Modern machinery has become simply ineffective. Runways become overgrown faster than they can be maintained. The last remaining way to travel between cities is by train. 
•  In this sea of green, only a few paths can be considered “fords.” They are used to lay tracks on deeply driven piles. 
• Locomotives have a reinforced front end to clear sprouts growing through the crossties.
• The big wars have ceased, but people remain people. Local clashes continue and threaten to escalate into something bigger eventually.

WHAT IS THIS GAME ABOUT?

Armoured trains meet in a sea of grass that has consumed all land. Commanders silently scan the horizon for signs of the enemy. 

"Open fire!" Huge cannons roar, and shells disappear into the clouds. Birds fly from the trees alongside the tracks. Silence. 

BAM! One of the shells misses by two wagons and hits the cargo wagon instead. The explosion turns the cargo inside out, painting the sky black with smoke and flames. The heavy metal cables stretch taut, and what almost tore the train in half now lies uselessly between the wagons. 

A red bloom appears on the horizon but quickly disappears. The volley seems to have struck true. All three cannons have hit the locomotive. The battle is over.
